Outside Lands in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park is grown to one of the country’s premier summer concert festivals. In addition to musical acts on multiple stages, the 8-year old festival offers comedy acts, gourmet food and wine, and art exhibits. Add to the list puppets, rather MuppetsDr. Teeth & The Electic Mayhem delivered a 20-minute, multimedia set to, what likely was, the band’s largest crowd.

The band’s original lineup of The Muppets’ Dr. Teeth, Animal, Janice, Floyd Pepper, Zoot, and Lips treated the crowd to cover tunes everybody could groove to – Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros’ “Home,” The Band’s “Ophelia,” paid tribute to the Bay Area with a cover of the Mowgli’s’ “San Francisco,” and a great version The Beatles’ “With A Little Help From My Friends” (in this case, a little help from the Oakland Tabernacle Choir.)

Far out, man.
