It’s safe to say Perry Farrell won’t be hanging around the stage that bears his name at Lollapalooza this weekend in Chicago’s Grant Park.  Perry’s Stage has long been the stage to feature a variety of EDM performers. Greg Kot’s column last week in the Chicago Tribune, Perry Farrell contemplates life after 25 years of Lollapalooza, Farrell said “…I hate EDM. I want to vomit it out of my nostrils. I can’t stand what it did to what I love, which is house music, which was meditative, psychedelic — it took you on a journey. … I sometimes cringe at my own festival.”

Jane’s Addiction plays Lollapalooza on Saturday July 29 after two playing two consecutive Official Lollapalooza Aftershows at Metro on Chicago’s north side.
